More than 400 SMEs are involved in cluster approach projects promoted by Tecnalia

In order to improve competitiveness of companies in the IT sector, TECNALIA has promoted 11 cluster approach projects worldwide with a total of 442 SMEs in different countries, such as Armenia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Spain, France, Macedonia, Mexico, Peru, etc. Thanks to this participation has there has been a total of 184 deployments of CMMI and ITmark models.

  • Aragon: 21 SMEs
  • Peru: 90 SMEs through the partnership of APESOFT.
  • Aquitaine (France): 6 SMEs
  • Mexico: 15 Mexican companies
  • Brazil: Under the project “Towards CMMI” TECNALIA performs the necessary services to 27 companies in several states with the objective of improving their software development
  • Bulgaria: The ESI Center Eastern Europe works supporting software process improvement of 6 companies with the aim of improving software production
  • Macedonia: Project launched with a group of 5 SMEs with the objective of implementing IT Mark.
  • Asturias: Project promoted by the ICT Cluster of Asturias to support 10 SMEs in improving programs.
  • COMPETIC I: Project launched by CONETIC and supported by the Avanza Plan of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade for the certification of 26 SMEs in CMMI Level 2. This project involves companies from Castilla y León, Navarra, Asturias and the Basque Country.
  • Extremadura: Project promoted by the Junta de Extremadura and directed by the business incubator of new technologies in Extremadura (Vivernet), in order to support the implementation of improvement programs based on IT Mark in 10 SMEs.
  • COMPETIC II: Project launched by CONETIC and supported by the Avanza Plan of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade for the certification of 27 SMEs in CMMI Level 2. This project involves companies from Castilla y León, Navarra, Cantabria and Basque Country.
  • PISCIS: Project for the certification of 16 SMEs in CMMI Level 2 and 3. This project involves companies from Aragon, Catalonia, Extremadura and Valencia.
  • Colombia: Project launched by the  ESI@Center Sinertic Andino and funded by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce with the participation of 20 enterprises for ITmark Certification.
  • Advance CAM: Project for certificate 5 SMEs in CMMI level 2. This project involves the community of Extremadura, Castilla La Mancha and Valencia.
  • Avanza Barcelona Digital: Certification Project for 6 SMEs in CMMI Level 2. This project involves companies in Barcelona, ​​Vizcaya, Asturias and Burgos.
  • ASOLIF – ELSE: Project launched to certify 8 companies in free software SME with the ISO-20000 certification
