As technology development center, one of the strategic objectives of ESIcenter  Sinertic Andino Foundation  is to support the best practices adoption processes related to quality and business certification in ICT companies in Colombia and the Andina Region.

Thus, from 2008 ESICenter Sinertic initiated work to contribute to increasing the competitiveness and productivity of companies in this sector in Colombia through ITMark certification, with a result of 44 certified Itmark companies; currently 22 companies maintain Itmark certification. This volume of business has been achieved mainly through the implementation of several partnership projects, among which are the following:

Competitiveness Improvement Project of ICT Sector in Bogotá and Cundinamarca: Executed in 2008 with the participation of 18 PYMES in Bogotá and the Commerce Chamber of Bogotá.

Itmark Implementation and Certification Project: Executed in 2009 with the participation of 10 PYMES of ICT sector in Bogotá and the Commerce Chamber of Bogotá.
