Tecnalia grants the first ITmark Elite certification in Latin America
Tecnalia grants during 2017 the first ITmark Elite certification in Colombia and Latin America.
ITmark is a quality management certification developed by Tecnalia in 2005 with the purpose of promoting excellence in management activities for SMEs in three different areas:
• Business management
• Information security management
• Software engineering, systems and services
The ITmark certification is organized in three levels: Basic, Premium and Elite.
• Basic ITMark certifies that the company knowledges and has started to implement key areas related to business management, information security management and software engineering, systems and services. Starting to implement these improvements allows the company to better manage its products, customers and production processes.
• ITMark Premium certifies that the company has defined and implemented key processes related to business management, information security management and software engineering, systems and services. At this level the company moves along the improvements achieved at the previous level and extends them to more organizational areas.
• IT Mark Elite certifies that the company has defined and implemented a large number of processes related to business management, information security management and software engineering, systems and services. Besides, the company systematically performs a process improvement initiative.
