ITmark

Information Management Department of Burgas Free University, Bulgaria achieved Itmark certification in September 2013. The process improvement program of the organizational unit aimed to increase the department quality and effectiveness in development of custom software solutions and to ensure world class information services provided by the department to Burgas Free University. With this project European Software Institute Center Eastern Europe, Bulgaria demonstrated the potential of Itmark to contribute to the success of IT-enabled organization, and more specifically to the mission of Burgas Free University to be a flexible, enterprising and socially responsible institution, which provides training of undergraduates and graduates with skills for quick professional realization and career in the dynamic and globalizing environment of today.
The Itmark improvement and certification was conducted within the project “Уни-Съвършенство” – improvement of management systems and processes for decision-making in the Burgas Free University, financed by European Social Fund and Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy under the EU operational program “Development of Human Resources”.
